Kirsten O’Rourke is a visual artist and professor of art, with a penchant for writing. After moving to Nashville as a songwriter, Kirsten cut her teeth in the songwriting community while simultaneously building her career in the visual arts and raising two children with her beloved and fun-loving husband, Jesse. Today, Kirsten is a member of the Gallatin Arts Council, and maintains a successful career as a portrait artist and the owner and operator of Sumner in Color, a summer art camp for children.
