Cross Plains, TN, June 2, 2023 -- With a total of $1000 dollars in prizes, the East Robertson (ER) Striker Club is launching the irthird treasure hunt with the largest prize yet. There will be a hidden treasure within a 20 mile radius of East Robertson High School. The treasure hunter who finds it can claim the prize package valued at $1,000. The treasure hunters will be given a list of locations they need to visit to gather the clues which will lead them to the treasure. Official rules and clue locations will be posted on the ER Striker Club on Facebook page and Instagram. The treasure hunt will officially begin on Saturday, June 10 with the clue locations being posted on the ER Striker Club Facebook and Instagram social media sites.

“With the East Robertson Striker Club treasure hunt, our goal is to raise awareness of East Robertson Soccer and to get people excited about getting outside in search of adventure,” says Rick Tatum, creator of the hunt.

The East Robertson Striker Club is the booster club for East Robertson High School soccer. It was founded in 2017 by parents of the East Robertson soccer players. The East Robertson Striker Club was formed to help support the efforts of ER Soccer through volunteering time, raising money and contributing funds.

The Story

The tale begins almost 250 years ago in 1780. A family of settlers fled the east in search of a new beginning. They found our area and claimed their new land. They brought with them treasures to help finance their new homestead. But suddenly, the family vanished. Not a trace to be found.

Stories were passed down through the generations that they buried their treasure to keep it safe, but no one knew where. This treasure remained hidden until now.

Documents have been found that will lead you to the treasure. These documents will be housed at secure locations around the area. Those locations will be announced at the appropriate time.
