Why Would I Need a Wealth Advisor?

Are you wondering what a wealth advisor does or if you even qualify to have a wealth manager?

You probably know that usually it takes a lot more than just luck to accumulate wealth, and that’s where the expertise of a wealth advisor comes into play.

Wealth advisors work with clients to get a complete picture of their assets, liabilities, income, and expenses. From there, they discuss the client’s goals and risk tolerance and offer tailored advice on how to reach those targets by using multiple strategies and tools the general public does not have access to.

Although I financially advise clients from all stages in life, there are specific milestones where I recommend you come see me:

Starting a New Job

Maybe this is your first career job, or perhaps you just switched careers. This is a great time to budget for expenses, savings, and retirement with your new salary in mind. Let me help you gather these figures and make sure they are accurate for your goals. You may have an old 401k with several options to explore. I can assist with understanding the merits of each option.

Getting Married

Wondering if you should combine bank accounts? How to split bills? How to handle if your partner has a lot of debt? I can help answer those questions and make recommendations.

Having a Baby

Babies are so wonderful, but they are expensive! You might need to redo your budget, and you’ll want to plan ahead for their future. I am here to help.

Selling or Purchasing a Home

This is a huge decision! Don’t be pressured by others to decide that you’re not 100% comfortable and knowledgeable about. I can lay out all your options in a customized way and make recommendations that are in your best interest.

Getting Divorced

I am also a Certified Divorce Financial Advisor and have some great strategies to help you navigate this tough transition. In such an emotional and difficult time, it helps to have someone who is qualified looking out for your finances.

Now Caring for a Parent or Loved One

Not only is this a huge emotional stress, but it can be a financial stress as well. Meet with me to plan for those costs and utilize tools to help make the load a little lighter. You may also want to look at insurance options for senior care for yourself or others in your family.

Lost a Parent or Spouse

I watched my mother, a strong and educated woman, become a widow very suddenly. It is with the heart of a son, and the experience that I have gained over many years, to assist people who need some guidance. Emotions can get in the way of making sound financial decisions. I work with my clients to help in the decisions that affect their retirement income, family legacy, financial longevity, and charitable giving.

Nearing Retirement

Worried if your retirement accounts will be enough? I can help you decide if your retirement plan is on track and provide recommendations on how to improve your savings.

Recently Retired

Once you are retired, I can help you develop plans to keep your money working smartly so you can enjoy those golden years.
