Vol State’s Keep Educating Yourself (KEY) Lecture series is coming to Robertson County, landing on Springfield’s Vol State campus. Starting this Friday, September 13th, this 6-week long series dives into the rich historic roots of Robertson County.
Whether you’re a history buff, a storyteller, or someone who wants to learn about your community, this opportunity is for you.
Accessible with the low price point of $25 and the no-commitment clause, “attend one or attend all”, this premiere event is set up to be a Robertson County favorite event.

· Sept 13 Danny Atchley- Historical people and Murders, Mayhem & Lynchings of Robertson County past
· Sept 20 John Baker, Jr- Family history, ancestors of slaves at Wessynton Planation
· Sept 27 Gary Lima- Morgan on the Rim
· Oct 4 Sheila Watts- History of Greenbrier
· Oct 11 Joe Gordon- Caves in Robertson County and in southeast US, plus unexpected encounter
· Oct 18 Richard Lee- Founding of Coopertown (1800s) and Gary Lima - Bell Witch
