Vol State Welcome 20th Class of President's Ambassadors

The Volunteer State Community College President’s Ambassadors program, now in its 20th year, represents Volunteer State Community College and the College Foundation at events, assists with community engagement, and helps with marketing and communications. Students selected from all four Volunteer State Community College campuses for the President’s Ambassadors scholarship program undergo a rigorous vetting and interview process. Successful candidates are selected from over two thousand eligible students. To be eligible for the program students must have a cumulative 3.0 grade point average and have completed at least 12 college-level credit hours at Vol State.

Dr. Wendi Tostenson, Volunteer State Community College President, shares, “As we celebrate the 20th anniversary of this program, we are confident that this new class of Ambassadors will continue to uphold the tradition of excellence that has defined the program over the past two decades.”

The members of the 20th class of Presidents Ambassadors for the VSCC Gallatin Campus are Charron Allen Sr., Pricilla Hanna, Joey Palek, Kallie Pharris, Samantha Sailer, Ana Maria Salazar, Molly Thurman, Rachel Vanatta, Sydnee White. Devin Wilson and Hannah Chew have been selected as President’s Ambassadors for the VSCC Springfield campus.
