Turning Neighbors Into Friends: Meet Jennifer Defrancesco

Editor’s Note: In honor of International Women’s Month we continue spotlighting powerful, positive women in our community. What better way to close out this theme than by introducing you to a newer neighbor? Jennifer Defrancesco has plugged into the White House community, bringing her radiant smile and warm spirit to every room she enters. Pour a cup of coffee and have a peek at our conversation. No doubt, she will endear herself to you as she has us at Stay Positive News.

What brought you here to White House, Tennessee?

From the moment I set foot in Tennessee, I was hooked—especially on the country music culture of the Nashville area! (my Great Aunt was a country music singer!)  I started working with the apartment industry in Portland, OR, but when the opportunity arose to transfer and manage a brand-new lease-up community in White House, I jumped at the chance. I quickly fell in love with this charming town and am thrilled to be part of its exciting growth.

What’s one thing you wished people knew about you?

One of the craziest things that’s ever happened to me? An airplane crashed right in front of my car while I was driving! Talk about an unforgettable moment! Nobody was hurt.

What advice would you give to those moving to the area?

Modern apartments aren’t just places to live; they’re thriving communities within a community and offer much more than they used to. White House offers that perfect blend of small-town charm with easy access to the energy of big-city life.

What is the best part of your role as Community Manager for Sage North?

The people! I love building a sense of community and forming meaningful connections with residents. Seeing neighbors turn into friends is what makes this work so rewarding.

In addition to those meaningful connections, what are you passionate about?

I’m always up for an adventure! Whether it’s diving into new music, birdwatching, traveling to new places, or trying something completely different, I’m all about exploring the world around me.

Stop in and pay Jenn a visit at Sage North (344 Madeline Way, White House), or give her a call You can also visit Sage North’s website.
