TriStar Northcrest's ER Gets a Refresh

Tuesday, July 30th, marked the official ribbon cutting for the newly renovated Emergency Department at TriStar Northcrest Medical Center in Springfield. Hospital executives and staff, local business leaders, and community leaders gathered to celebrate the occasion.

The refresh is a much-needed renovation that provides a more comfortable environment of care for the patient and enables TriStar staff to continue providing the highest level of care to the residents of Robertson County. The last major renovation to the Emergency Department occurred 17 years ago.

Since then, NorthCrest has seen tens of thousands of emergency patients yearly, to include over 25,000 emergency patients in 2023.

This refresh addresses the wear and tear that accompanies such high traffic by bringing updated flooring and paint to the ED’s 12 Treatment Bays, 3 Trauma Rooms, and 3 Behavioral Health Intake Rooms.

NorthCrest Medical Center is excited to bring this updated emergency room to the community and continue its commitment to the care and improvement of human life.
