TriStar Northcrest Partners with TNKids Nutrition to Combat Child Hunger

TNKids Nutrition program, an integral part of the Patty Dunn Memorial Backpack Attack Program. This initiative is crucial in addressing child hunger in Robertson County and the surrounding areas.

TriStar Northcrest is proud to announce a new partnership with TNKids Nutrition, involving regular volunteer efforts to support and enhance the nutritional well-being of children in the community. This collaboration aligns with the company's commitment to community service.

“HCA Healthcare and TriStar Health encourage giving back to the community. The organization provides a way to document and log anytime an employee gives service in the community. This is another way that ‘We Show Up’ for our community,” says Mark Garrett, a TNKids Nutrition volunteer and the VP of HR for TriStar Northcrest.

In their recent volunteering efforts, the TriStar Northcrest team has actively participated in packing and distributing bags filled with nutritious food.

“This experience has allowed us to contribute directly to alleviating child hunger in our community,” notes Mark.

The efforts of TriStar Northcrest volunteers are not only benefiting TNKids Nutrition but also providing personal fulfillment for the volunteers.

“It was phenomenal to see the work our community does to help less fortunate children. The system and processes in place at TNKids Nutrition made our efforts efficient. In addition, the volunteers brought positive energy and made the time spent with them a delight,” says Mark.
