TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center is pleased to announce Christine Lunger as its new chief nursing officer. Lunger will oversee nursing operations at the 109-bed acute care hospital dedicated to serving the healthcare needs of Robertson County and the surrounding areas.

Lunger has been part of the HCA Healthcare family for more than 15 years, most recently serving as the associate chief nursing officer at TriStar Summit Medical Center. Prior to her time at TriStar Summit, Lunger held successive leadership positions at TriStar Skyline Medical Center, including director of the Critical Care Unit and associate chief nursing officer.

Lunger received a Master of Science in Executive Leadership from Chamberlain University and a bachelor’s degree from The College of New Jersey. She has also served on several non-profit and professional boards, including the Metro Nashville Public Schools Healthcare Academy, YELL Team Member, L’Evate Program and American Heart Association Heart Walk. She was also a Leadership Goodlettsville Program participant and was awarded the March of Dimes Nurse Executive of the Year.

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is pleased to welcome Lauren Kane, MBA, BSN, RN, as chief nursing officer. Kane will oversee the professional practice of nursing and provide strategic nursing leadership at TriStar Hendersonville. She will also be a member of the executive leadership team.

With 14 years of nursing experience, Kane most recently served as associate chief nursing officer at TriStar Skyline Medical Center, where she oversaw 700 caregivers across the hospital. Prior to that, she served in successive leadership roles at TriStar Centennial Medical Center team, including bedside nurse, manager and director of medical/surgical nursing.
Throughout her career, Kane has demonstrated an exceptional ability to strengthen and engage nursing teams, successfully retaining some of the most talented nurses within her hospitals. Her commitment to nursing excellence and her focus on delivering high-quality care align perfectly with TriStar Hendersonville’s values.
Kane received her bachelor’s degree from Madonna University in Livonia, Michigan. She also received a Master of Business Administration from Western Governor’s University.
