Sheila Dunnels is an inspiring woman with a fantastic heart. Having called Sumner County, TN her home for over 35 years, she was determined from a young age to make a lasting impact on her community.

Sheila, a real estate agent by trade, has helped her clients find their dream homes in and around Sumner County for over 9 years.  

However, it's her passion for helping others that sets her apart from the rest. Her latest endeavor is the website TheFacesOfSumner.com, which she first launched to bring awareness to the diverse people living in Sumner County in 2020.

On the website, visitors can read about the unique stories of Sumner County's residents, see photos of them, and learn how they've made a difference in the lives of those around them. It's a great way to get to know the people of Sumner County and gives a voice to those who might not otherwise have one.

A favorite story Sheila published on her website is of the owner of Jolly Ollie’s in Hendersonville, Diyla Knight. When Shelia and Diyla first met, Diyla had casually mentioned to Shelia that one of her dreams has always been to ride a horse. 

Sheila immediately knew where to take Diyla and make her dream come true. She was able to connect her with a friend who agreed to donate an entire lesson for Diyla to learn how to ride. It was such a thoughtful gesture that meant the world to Diyla. 

That is truly just ONE of the hundreds of stories about Sheila’s thoughtfulness. She is so kind to everyone she meets and will do anything to help those around her.

Furthermore, Sheila Dunnels is using her platform as a real estate agent to help promote TheFacesOfSumner.com. She regularly posts about it on her social media accounts, and she even takes pictures with her clients and posts them on the website to give them a chance to show off their stories.
