Springfield to conduct annual leaf collection

SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. – The City of Springfield will conduct its annual autumn leaf collection beginning Monday, November 6 through Monday, December 29, 2023.

The City of Springfield provides residents living within the city limits of Springfield bagged leaf collection service during the fall and winter season. The city does not collect loose leaves. All leaves must be bagged and placed curbside.

A leaf removal truck will operate on a daily basis and will remove bagged leaves as your street is serviced. It is not necessary to call for this service as crews will routinely check each city street.

Autumn leaf collection is not available at apartments, condominiums or businesses. For additional leaf collection policies, please visit www.springfieldtn.gov/leaf or contact the Public Works Department at (615) 384-2746.
