Springfield Parks and Recreation launches new online registration portal

SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. – The Springfield Parks and Recreation Department is thrilled to announce the launch of a new, user-friendly online registration portal, CivicRec. Users are able to use this new portal when registering for programs offered by the parks and recreation department.

This integrated technology platform allows citizens greater visibility into offered parks and recreation activities, classes, sports, and an easier way to register. It also allows citizens to search for and reserve community facilities, pavilions, and shelters all conveniently online. It is mobile-friendly allowing citizens to search for community activities and events, register, and remit payment even from a smartphone or tablet. To access the new registration portal, citizens can visit springfieldtn.gov/parksrec and create a free account.

This exciting transition to digital registration marks a major milestone for Springfield Parks and Recreation’s continued work in making recreational activities more accessible for the community.

“We are excited be able to move the department forward in this way,” said Springfield Parks and Recreation Director Terry Martin. “Not only will the online capabilities benefit the staff operating programs, but more importantly, it will be a huge convenience to the customer.”

Springfield Parks and Recreation encourages the community to explore the new online registration portal and take advantage of the simplicity it offers when registering for sports leagues and other programs.
