Springfield Fire Department Awarded Lifesaving Equipment Grant to Help Keep First Responders and Community Safe

SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. – The Springfield Fire Department recently received a $26,100 grant from Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation® to ensure local first responders have the necessary equipment to keep community members and themselves safe. The grant will be used to purchase self-contained breathing apparatus bottles, fulfilling a critical need within the department.

“We are grateful to Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation and Firehouse Subs Goodlettsville for awarding us this grant,” said Jeff Glodoski, Springfield Fire Chief. “The new self-contained breathing apparatus bottles will undoubtedly enhance the efficiency of our first responders in emergencies.”
