SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. – Registration for Springfield’s spring youth sports leagues is now open. Springfield’s Parks and Recreation Department will be offering youth baseball and softball for youth ages 4 to 18. New for 2024 will be a 3-4 year old tee ball league!

These leagues give participants, led by volunteer coaches, the chance to learn the fundamentals of tee ball, softball, and baseball while working as a team. Practices will begin in March and regular season play will take place April through May. Youth leagues available this Spring include:

· NEW! Ages 3-4 Tee Ball

· Ages 4-6 DYBaseball

· Ages 7-8 DYBaseball

· Ages 9-10 DYBaseball

· Ages 11-12 DYBaseball

· Ages 13-14 DYBaseball

· Ages 15-16 DYBaseball

· Ages 17-18 DYBaseball

· Ages 4-6 Diamond Youth Softball

· Ages 7-8 Diamond Youth Softball

· Ages 9-10 Diamond Youth Softball

· Ages 11-12 Diamond Youth Softball

· Ages 13-14 Diamond Youth Softball

· Ages 15-16 Diamond Youth Softball

· Ages 17-18 Diamond

Youth Softball Registration is available online at springfieldtn.gov/playball through January 23, 2024.
