Quad City DJs Headline to Benefit Robertson County Flag Football League

Uh-oh! Let me see you tootsie roll! Quad City DJs along with Clayton Q, Austin Williams, and Callista Clark are set to take the stage in Springfield later this month to benefit the Robertson County Flag Football League (RCFFL).

The first annual Huddle Jam will rock out The Center on August 26 starting at 7:30 pm with all proceeds going to the RCFFL, a non-profit organization new to the Springfield area.

Robertson County Flag Football League (RCFFL) was created as a non-profit organization to bring flag football to the youth of Robertson County and surrounding areas at minimal costs. Their idea is to give any and all youth who wish to participate in an organized sport the opportunity to do so regardless of his or her economic means.

Through their partnership with the NFL, their organization is able to bring a high level of flag football competition to the community. Their biggest mission includes a mentorship program that helps troubled youth grow into constructive and caring citizens

“The community and local government have been HUGE supporters of this endeavor,” said Randall Alexander, President of RCFFL. “We are tremendously grateful!”

Starting out strong, the league currently has 135 players with the expectation that enrollment will double in the spring, and this is why they are hosting a benefit concert to raise the funds needed to keep these kids on the field and in their mentorship programs.

Regular admission ranges from $30-$40 and organizers hope to raise $50k through sponsorships and ticket proceeds from the concert. There are still sponsorships and VIP tables available that include plenty of perks including artist meet and greets.

Rachel Allison from Stay Positive News will be co-hosting the event as well.

Tickets can be purchased here or at the following locations in Springfield:

Premium Market, 713 S Willow St, Springfield

Robertson County Flag Football League, 101 5th Ave W, Springfield

The RCFFL was created in partnership with the NFL Flag Program which benefits over 600,000 young athletes nation-wide. If you are interested in coaching or assisting contact Pierre for more information at 706-627-7863. You can also visit their website to learn more information.
