Springfield, Tennessee — Payne Chevrolet is partnering with Robertson County Family YMCA on the Chevy Youth Sports program, a partnership program built to position Chevrolet as the Official Vehicle of Youth Sports while providing an opportunity for local youth sports leagues to grow.

The partnership features a one-time monetary contribution to assist Robertson County Family YMCA with registration fees, equipment costs, facility maintenance and other administrative fees. The program also provides an opportunity for community members to earn additional funds for the league via a Test Drive fundraiser. This donation was delivered on September 25 by Alex Payne, VP for Payne Chevrolet.

“Sports can help kids develop skills like leadership, cooperation, and sportsmanship while bringing families and communities together to show their support,” said Alex. “Payne Chevrolet and Chevy Youth Sports are proud to help Robertson County Family YMCA bring so many smiles to kids and families in Springfield. Chevy believes in the power of play as a way for young people to build the skills needed to be successful in the future.”

The Chevy Youth Sports program gives Chevrolet dealerships the opportunity to provide support for youth athletic programs across the country. In 2023, over 600 Chevrolet dealerships will participate in the program nationwide.

Additionally, Chevrolet brought a group of children from the Robertson County Family YMCA to a Nashville Soccer Club game at Geodis Park on September 2 where they were able to meet the team, see the locker rooms, and join the players on the field.
