Payne Chevrolet Propels Youth Soccer

Cars and sports—elements that impact nearly every Tennessee family. Payne Chevrolet melds the two through their support of Robertson County’s YMCA Youth Soccer program. For the past three years, the Springfield dealership has been an integral part of the soccer program during their Annual Giving Campaign, contributing not only financial support but also equipment and unique opportunities for young athletes.

Alex Payne, Owner and Vice President of Payne Chevrolet shares his thoughts on this year’s $1,500 donation check, “We're honored to support the YMCA fall soccer league.”

“There's also an opportunity to earn $500 more by individuals signing up for test drives at the dealership,” Alex adds. “Chevrolet will donate $25 per test drive, up to an additional $500 for a potential donation total of $2,000.”

From clipboards to soccer balls, nearly every team has been impacted by Payne Chevrolet’s sponsorship. Luke Tucker, Program Director II for Robertson County YMCA, reiterates how this sponsorship positively impacts his program, “Through this sponsorship, our soccer program gains additional equipment for the coaches and players.”

Payne’s generosity has given more than equipment, Luke adds, recalling how select YMCA soccer participants had the opportunity to attend a Nashville Soccer Club game. These children had the unforgettable experience of participating in on-field ceremonies and giving high-fives to players as they entered the field.

Unforgettable moments crafted because of Payne Chevrolet’s generosity. Luke recalls one in particular that happened during his first season as Soccer Director in the fall of 2023.

“The soccer program was experiencing record high participation and we needed one more player to fill out our U6 division teams,” says Luke, “I reached out to a family whose son had played with us before, but they were unable to register due to financial constraints. Thanks to donations from our Annual Giving Campaign, I was able to cover the fee, and their son was able to play.”

One registration impacts one family. That one impacts a team. That team impacts a community. It’s the multiplication effect of generosity.

Let your generosity multiply and go visit Payne Chevrolet for a test drive.
