I saw him dancin' there by the record machine

I knew he must've been about 17…

How ‘bout it, y’all? Do you LOVE ROCK N ROLL?

If so, then come on, take some time and dance with me  at Music Under the Stars August 26 at 6:30 pm!

Music Under the Stars is a free event sponsored by The White House Area Chamber of Commerce with the support of The Jill Kelly Team, EJ’s and NP Clinic put on several times throughout the summer.

In addition to the live music, Key’s Southern Smokehouse and The Pink Truck will be on hand, so no need to eat dinner beforehand. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets, and be there or be square!

A local favorite, Kruze Kontrol, will be headlining the event with their signature throwback hits from the 80s and 90s.

They will be opened up by Chromium, a fresh faced group of rockers from Mr. Perry’s Music school in Springfield. The band came together two years ago when the original members met at Mr. Perry’s Summer Camp.

“Mr Perry does things differently,” said Wes Christenson, Chromium bassist. “Instead of teaching scales, he taught us songs.”

The unconventional approach to music instruction has worked well for the boys who continue to book gigs near their hometowns of White House and Springfield, with hopes of expanding the horizon in the years to come.

“We don’t put TOO much pressure on ourselves,” said Wes. “We just try to focus on having fun.”

And a lot of fun will be had this evening, so don’t miss out!
