Gallatin Area Chamber Wins Top Award for Communications

The Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce has been named one of 12 Communications Award of Excellence winners by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE). ACCE is an association based in Alexandria, Virginia, that has over 1,600 chambers of commerce and related business and economic development organizations as members, representing more than 9,000 professionals in the industry.

ACCE’s Awards for Communications Excellence (ACE) program is designed to showcase top communications and marketing work of chambers of commerce and similar organizations. ACE Awards are judged by industry peers. This year’s panel was comprised of 16 U.S.-based chamber of commerce communications and marketing professionals.

“Innovative, engaging communications are essential for chambers of commerce to promote the impact of their work and amplify their communities' stories," said ACCE President & CEO Sheree Anne Kelly. "We congratulate this year's winners for their outstanding efforts to inform, engage and spur action in order to drive positive change in their regions."

The Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce was named an Award of Excellence winner for the entry of “Spirit of Gallatin”, their 2024 City Guide and Business Directory , an annual print publication that showcases Gallatin’s people, assets, and community.

“The Gallatin City Guide is produced by an internal team of Chamber employees including Angela Anderson, our Vice President of Member Experience, who serves as the photographer; Debby Haddock, our Sales Coordinator who handles all the ad sales, collection, and curation; and myself for concept and coordination. Most importantly, we keep it all local, using members who help with design (Gwen Canfield of Creative Instinct), print (Prisma), and project management (Kathryn Good of Good Circle Marketing). Without them and our many members who trust us with their stories and advertising dollars, this community resource and stunning piece would not be possible! If you haven’t seen one, please drop by our office to pick up your copy today” said Gallatin Chamber President & CEO, Kim Baker.

A panel of communications and marketing professionals from 16 U.S.-based chambers of commerce evaluated entries submitted for this year’s competition. Entries were organized by category — based on the chamber’s annual revenue — and entry type: audio/videos, campaigns, print and electronic publications and websites
