While the nation celebrated Thanksgiving at the close of November, a community within White House started their own turkey-day traditions. Sage North—a luxury apartment residence—kicked off the holiday season with their “Friends-Giving” event. Held in their expansive, open-living room style clubhouse, residents and staff came together to share a meal, hear live music, and most importantly meet their new neighbors.
Payton Walker, a local high school student, moved into Sage North with her mom a couple weeks prior. “It felt very connecting, like having one big dinner at Grandma’s house,” she says. “Now I have familiar faces to wave at when I’m walking my dogs.”
As a new resort-style apartment community located in White House, Tennessee, Sage North hosts monthly events designed to bring people together and hopefully turn neighbors into friends.
"It really warms my heart," said Jenn DeFrancesco, Community Manager at Sage North. "Before we opened, we envisioned the community feel that we wanted to have here, so to see the relationships being built amongst neighbors, we are grateful to them as residents here at Sage North."
Residents developing relationships turns living spaces into homes and neighborly presence becomes a gift enjoyed all year long. Perhaps the pause moment created by Sage North’s community events is the best gift of all—time to breathe in moments a little more deeply and truly be together—the definition of community.
