Mark your calendars for a day of fun, community, and safety at the 2024 Discover White House Expo and Safety Day, happening Saturday, October 5th at White House Municipal Park. This FREE family-friendly event is street fair style and packed with exciting activities, delicious food, live music, and much more!‍

Safety Day Highlights will feature hands-on learning experiences such as a drunk driving simulator provided by the City of White House Police Department and a downed powerline simulation courtesy of CEMC and Cumberland Connect.

Families can explore police cars, fire engines, ambulances, police horses, a SWAT unit, and try out seatbelt simulators for an engaging experience. Plus, Open Door Pregnancy will have their mobile unit on-site.

For a day full of entertainment, the event will have something for everyone.

Enjoy live music, a bike rodeo with bike giveaways courtesy of State Farm Insurance Mike Gaines, free face painting, airbrush tattoos, a caricature artist, balloon twisters, and a wide variety of inflatables sponsored by North Nash Event Rentals, Charter Senior Living, Temple Baptist Church, E-Z Lift Doors, Diana Health, and Highpoint Health with Ascension Saint Thomas.

Shoppers can browse through local artisans and crafters, as well as enjoy period demonstrations and historic dress, while food trucks will offer mouth-watering options for all.
