City of Springfield Seeks Public Input for Future Growth

SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. – What is your vision for Springfield’s future? The City of Springfield is seeking public input for its comprehensive growth plan.

The comprehensive plan will serve as a visionary document to drive policies and future city growth and investments. It will look at key issues like transportation, land use, utility infrastructure, emergency services, and quality of life issues relative to the Springfield community.

There are two ways to offer input:

· In-person open house – Oct. 3, 5 – 7 p.m., Springfield City Hall, 405 North Main Street

· Online survey – open through Nov. 15, 2023.

“We encourage Springfield citizens and business owners to share their vision for Springfield’s future,” said Senior Planner Kimberly Atlee. “Together, we can create a vibrant live, work, play community.”
