Celebrate our nation’s independence at Freedom Fest July 1

SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. – The City of Springfield’s Freedom Fest will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at the Robertson County Fairgrounds, 4635 US-41. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public.

Freedom Fest will include live music, carnival rides, inflatables, and local vendors. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from a variety of food vendors, including Springfield All Star Teams, Rojo’s Locos Tacos, DJ & EJ’s Hot Chicken & Fish, Sweet Escapes, Ocean Delights Seafood, E. & E. Boba Tea, Chick-Fil-A, Deja Moo, J.J. Concessions, Retro Monkey Hawaiian Shaved Ice, Whitt’s Barbecue, Tojo’s Food for the Soul, Anderson’s BBQ, Rubio’s Italian Kitchen, Big Thunder Kettle Corn, and the Robertson County Fair Concessions.

The free concert will include performances by Buzzy Poole, Jimmy Church Band, Ben Chapman, and CMT Music Award winner Megan Moroney!

The evening will conclude with the city’s fireworks display around 9:15 p.m.

Free parking is available at the fairgrounds and Legion Park. A clear bag policy will be enforced at the event. Non-transparent bags will not be permitted. For more information about event guidelines and rules, visit www.springfieldtn.gov/freedomfest.
