The Summer Olympics – an athletic competition which brings people together in the spirit of sportsmanship from all over the world – kicked off in Paris at the end of July this year. The team at Bath Fitter Manufacturing of Springfield decided to honor this centuries-old tradition by hosting an Olympic competition of their own!

The SPLASH team filled the breakroom with flags and Olympic-themed decorations to boost awareness, while creating an itinerary of challenges for anyone who wanted to sign up.

After a grand opening parade through the plant, the challenge was on! Games included a water balloon toss, an egg-balancing relay race, basketball, rubber band archery, a hula hoop contest, and “mini” golf.

Despite the summer heat, several participants took part in every game. Laughter and friendly competitive banter could be heard all around as the games took place. It truly was a wonderful team-building experience!
